On Assignment: Baby Photoshoot with Jayden

There is always a first this year were a few first time stuff for me, First Maternity, First Corporate Profile photo-shoot [ had to remove that from the blog though :( ] and then some other stuff. Recently I had my first baby photoshoot and maaaaayne i was soo nervous initially but I kept that all bottled up so the client was confident by my air of confidence (yes i lied, and i lied gooood :) ).

The subject was a six month old boy named Jayden. and within seconds of the first trip of the shutter the little man was throwing smiles and expressions all over the place. it was beautiful and truely the most fun I’ve had photography a person in a very long time.

I was shooting with my trusty Canon 30 D and switching between an 85mm 1.8 and a 28-75mm 2.8 lens for close ups and wide shots His mom was happy, I was happy, and from the looks of the Mr Jayden, I think he’s always happy lol. I had a 3 light setup going modified using a softbox umbrella (not the soft liter, but a new ebay softbox umbrella I’ve been testing out) an Ebay softbox (the ezybox clone) and a diy beauty dish.

Dropped of the DVD and two Prints today and needless to say His mom was Happy
