Food Photography :: International Cuisine at Lillian’s

There was a small break in the restaurant week round up features for a food feature at Lillian’s which I co-incidentally covered for restaurant week only a few days before. Apparently there’s an International Cuisine course of some sort offered Read the details here on the Jamaica Gleaner. The food photography continues :).

I was working with the D800 and and fast glass with relatively decent afternoon light so i decided to listen to the inner voice. ignore the inner strobist and  forego the speed lights and make use of the ambient light. The results speaks for them self in my opinion. I toyed with some shallow depth of field and I think it worked out well for the presentations.
