Baby Turtle Hatchlings Journey – Photo Essay

I recently witnessed one of the most Awe Inspiring things I ever saw, “Awe” in the true sense of the word.. AWESOME!. these baby turtle hatchlings fresh into the world made their way down the beach and into the ocean where they’re life journey would begin. While watching them journey down the beach it dawned on me that some of them wont make it due to larger fish in the ocean yet still they each waded through the sand to get to the next phase of their aquatic journey.


The story related to this feature was actually published in the Sunday Gleaner’s Outlook Magazine titled “Turtle Run With Turtle Man – Mel Tennant”; I honestly had my doubts about it being published but I’m grateful it was.
